The Beekeeper begins as your typical revenge flick, but it gets even more interesting when you learn about the true meaning of the film's title. For The Beekeeper, Jason Statham collaborated with two of my favorite screenwriters and filmmakers—David Ayer (Training Day, Street Kings, Suicide Squad) and Kurt Wimmer (Equilibrium, the Point Break and Total Recall remakes).
The Beekeeper also stars Jeremy Irons and Josh Hutcherson from The Hunger Games films.
The Beekeeper starts off kind of slow, but you don't have to wait long for the ass-whooping to start with Jason Statham and his signature hard-hitting action style.
